At The PULSE, a group consists of 10 or more registered and paid dancers. As a group, you’ll receive additional PULSE perks!

• A group of 10 or more students receives ONE FREE TEACHER PASS. For every additional 10 students, one teacher comes free. Please note: this special offer is valid for every 10 PAID dancers brought to The PULSE. 10 dancers = 1 free teacher, 20 dancers = 2 free teachers, 30 dancers = 3 free teachers, etc

• Teacher Talk: We invite teachers to come meet our PULSE Director, Pam Chancey, as we discuss the dance world and any questions you may have for your students or your studio. Your suggestions and comments are very valuable and appreciated. Teacher Talk is an open floor discussion. Lunch is served.
• Creative Connect: Group leaders and teachers are invited for a sit-down luncheon on Sunday with The PULSE Faculty. This open-floor forum is a chance for you to connect on a casual, personal level with our faculty. This is also an opportunity for you to ask for feedback if you had a piece in our PULSE Performance Showcase.
  *Please remember that time is limited and we may not get to everyone’s questions. For this reason, we ask that you have specific questions or thoughts prepared. Anyone interested in attending Creative Connect must have a BRONZE All Access Band or a BLACK Studio Management band.
• Teacher Class: Don’t miss this private class with one of the most respected and sought-after choreographers! Closed to students, you must have a teacher BRONZE ALL ACCESS band to enter. This class is one of the most talked about experiences at The PULSE!
• Teacher Welcome Reception: Teachers (Bronze All Access or Black Studio Management wristbands) join our PULSE Staff for The Teacher Welcome Wine and Cheese on Friday evening. Come enjoy a glass of wine and casual meet and greet from 7:00-8:00pm at the hotel. A great way to kick off the weekend!

When forming your group, please keep the following in mind:
*Ages 11 and older are welcome to participate in classes.
*Please select the appropriate level when registering -- choose a level that best fits your dancer’s age and dance ability.
*Once you have registered, dancers will not be permitted to switch levels.

INTERMEDIATE: This level is designed for dancers ages 11-14. Classes will be taught for the intermediate-advanced dancer. We suggest a minimum of 5 years of dance training prior to the event. Dancers should be knowledgeable of the convention-style class setting and well-rounded in their dance education.
ADVANCED: This level is designed for dancers ages 14-17. Classes will be taught for the advanced dancer. Movement will be given quickly and choreography is expected to be learned and performed without hesitation.
ADVANCED/PRO: This is our most mature level. The direction from the faculty will be geared for adult language and expression. This level is best for dancers ages 17 and up, teachers, teacher assistants and advanced dancers.
*Levels might be combined or added in select cities based on enrollment

The PULSE Faculty members are professional, working choreographers and seasoned teachers. All material is taught at a fast pace, yet encouraging environment. Our goal is to motivate and inspire each and every student at The PULSE. We ask that you respect not only the dancer’s age, but his/her training level when selecting the registration type. Different color wristbands will be given for each level.

By filling out the form at the link above, you are letting us know of your group’s interest in attending one of our PULSE On Tour events. We will update you on information regarding the specific city you are considering, in an effort to ease the stress of getting your group together to dance with us on tour! We at The PULSE know this can sometimes be a difficult task! Please understand that by completing this form, no registrations are made. You are not registered until we have received full payment.

STUDIO MANAGEMENT BAND
Are you a non-dancing studio owner or a retired teacher? We have created an option just for you! The studio management band will allow you to not only observe class in all 3 levels, but also give you access to the Teacher Talk and Creative Connect. This band is $100 and is reserved just for groups! You may add a maximum of 5 studio management bands.

LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP
Group Leaders, we know sometimes your hardest working student doesn’t always get recognized in the ways they deserve. We are hoping you can help us to reward these budding leaders within your groups. Enclosed in your group packet will be one Leadership Scholarship that you are welcome to award to whichever dancer has been the best example for their peers. This scholarship is good for $100 off a regional PULSE during the 2011-2012 tour.
